Billy the Kid
Did you know that Billy the Kid was orphaned at the age of 14. His first arrest was for stealing clothes from someone’s laundry. His real name was Henry McCarty’s born in 1875. He earned his reputation as a gunslinger – He never robbed a bank, train or stagecoach. He did murder. He was 21 years old at the time of his death.
I have always been fascinated with the stories of the old west. What it would have been like in the days of the Old Cowboys’? This is the direction that I take to the easel along with the stories, artifacts and the vision, my goal as an artist is to create timeless pieces so the collector can view stories like this and others on canvas.
